About Take a Moment
Take a Moment is a positive piece of outdoor art encouraging reflection and the hope to move forward. Take a seat, stand up or lie down and listen closely.
Someone wants to say something. Six voices, all important and powerful, tell six stories about one of the most difficult moments of their lifetimes.
Take a Moment is a sound installation by Fluid Motion Theatre Company, originally created using young people’s experiences of Covid-19 that were gathered during our Recovery Project in secondary schools across the South East.
It’s now developed into a positive piece of outdoor art, encouraging reflection and the hope to move forward.
Bespoke commissions
Our Take a Moment installation consists of four individual structures that all play audio from a sound cube embedded within them.
The audio can be different for each one or they can all play the same thing. The structures are colourful, eye catching and generically designed.
We can work with you to design and create the audio, or you can provide us with pre-made content. This installation works particularly well as an interactive feedback point at festivals, conferences and events. It can also be a striking element as part of a project.
