Without volunteers we wouldn’t be able to operate.
Volunteers have been involved at every level of our work since we first started back in 2010. Whatever time you can give and whatever your interests, we’ll find a job to suit you, whether it’s performing, sitting on the board of directors or taking photographs at events.
By volunteering with us you are helping to raise awareness of mental health issues and challenging stigma.
Many of our volunteers have a personal interest in mental health and bring with them their knowledge and experience, which is invaluable.
We welcome people from all backgrounds particularly those who have experience of using mental health services.
Volunteering gives me the chance to meet new people and learn and gain more knowledge on mental heath. It gives me new skills and knowledge of mental heath and awareness.
It is a lovely place to volunteer every one Is friendly and we all work as a team, really enjoy seeing people and being part of a good community.
I found volunteering at All In The Mind fest an energising delight! I was stationed at the information desk which meant I got to greet people and send them off on their journeys around the festival, as well as kickstart conversations about the role of arts in both taking care of our mental health and raising awareness around it. Watching people arrive, flustered and mid-errand, and "only able to spare five minutes" then sticking around the whole day and leaving with a glowing smile on their face was such a joy to watch.
