Job - Freelance Fundraiser

We are seeking an experienced arts fundraiser to work with the directors on an Arts Council England funded development project. The fundraiser will join us in stage two of the project, working from our new business plan to help us secure sufficient funding to be able to start implementing our fantastic new programme of work.

                    

The candidate will have a strong track record of arts fundraising and knowledge of the UK arts and culture sector. The fundraiser will have a minimum of two years experience of applying and securing funds from reputable Trusts and Foundations such as, Henry Smith Foundation, Esmee Fairbairn and Paul Hamlyn Foundation. In addition the candidate will have proven experience of corporate fundraising. 

 

Expected deliverables by the fundraiser:

  • Submitted a minimum of two core fund applications of at least £40,000 to trusts/foundations by November 2020

  • Submitted a minimum of three project fund applications of at least £90,000 to trusts/foundations by December 2020

  • Secured corporate sponsorship of at least £5,000 by January 2021

Terms and Conditions

Contract Term: The post will commence on Monday 12th October 2020 with all project deliverables completed by Friday 22nd January 2021. Fluid Motion is committed to flexible working and in this current climate we feel it is important that this job role works around individual circumstances. That is why we are not setting specific hours or days of work. We only ask that the successful candidate can be available during some normal office hours, so that they coincide with Fluid Motion staff and are available for weekly check ins. 

Place of work: Due to the ongoing Covid-19 Pandemic this role will be undertaken remotely, however attendance at in-person meetings (only if safe and able to do so) may be required as and when is necessary.

Fee: £5,850 fixed fee (inclusive of tax, travel, accommodation (if required) and other direct expenses.)
