CREATIVE PRACTITIONERS

Job Title: Fluid Motion Creative Practitioner

Rate of pay: £150 per half-day workshop

Deadline for applications: 9am, 20th May 2022

Background

We are Fluid Motion. We use theatre to create happy brains.’

Fluid Motion makes theatre about lived experiences of mental health.

Established in 2010 and based in Basingstoke, we are a renowned arts organisation and Charity in England, dedicated to improving, supporting and highlighting mental health. Our annual All in the Mind Festival is the leading outdoor mental health arts festival in the UK and attracts audiences and artists from across the UK and Europe.

The Role

Fluid Motion Theatre Company are seeking one or more dynamic and engaging theatre practitioners to deliver mental health and theatre workshops as part of two core projects: The Recovery Project and The Gathering Project, throughout 2022.

The projects will run over five half-day workshops which will occur weekly where possible (with the final one focusing on the creation of a self-care pack), and content will be created alongside the successful candidate/s.

The projects will run with multiple partners, so we are currently looking to increase our bank of practitioners who can deliver across both projects. You must be available for at least 5 half-day workshops to take place across a maximum 7 week time-span. Delivery for different partners (there are a target of ten for each project) may overlap, so you may be required to deliver into the autumn term.

DEADLINE: 9am, 20th May 2022
